Our Litters
Thank you for your interest in a Bar D Aussie. Below you will find some of the key issues we feel are important when breeding Aussies:
Quality not Quantity - We plan each litter with the breed standard and puppy buyers in mind. We believe in a good strong foundation to make the best start for every puppy that leaves our home. Because we spend so much time with each litter we have taken a strong stand against over-breeding.
Health and Temperament - Health and temperament is very important to us. We start early with the development of the puppies by doing the Early Neurological Stimulation method developed by Dr Carmen Battaglia. We offer to genetic test all dogs we breed for an extra charge, if chosen the results of all tests will sent home with the puppy owner.
Our puppies each come dewormed, with their first set of shots, registration applications, a detailed puppy contract, a bill of sale and a collar. All of our puppies are raised in our home around children, farm animals and cats. We strive to produce quality pets, working dogs and agility/show prospects.
We start accepting deposits the day pups are born, we ask atleast $100 deposit with the remaining balance due by 6 weeks of age. Our puppies do not leave until 8 weeks of age.
We charge $750 for Tri pups.
We charge $850 for Merle pups.
All pups are available with breeding rights on an individual basis at a additional fee.
If the puppy is a mismark or cryptic merle no breeding rights will be available!
We've decided that we will no longer handle out of state sales. It is now required that a buyer comes out in person before 6 weeks of age to meet our adult dogs and interact with their puppy, or deposit will be forfeited. We will have set visit days every 2 weeks, beginning at 4 weeks old, but we understand that not everyone can make it to every visit. We are always available to schedule private visits outside of the scheduled days.
